As a recent graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a B.A. in history and sociology, Adam is excited to now have a column where he can practice local history on a regular basis. Being an Orange County native, this project has given him a fascinating new perspective on the towns where he grew up.
He wants his columns to not only trigger a newfound appreciation for how the communities you live in and around came to be, but also a greater appreciation for how history in general is talked and written about. So follow him each week, as he delves into a new chapter of San Juan Capistrano and Mission Viejo's ongoing histories.
