She graduated from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in communication/journalism with a minor in political science. After graduation, Amanda was hired at Record Publishing Co. in 2007 to be a reporter covering Stow and Tallmadge. She was hired in November 2010 to be the Local Editor for Stow. At Patch, we promise always to report the facts as objectively as possible and otherwise adhere to the principles of good journalism. However, we also acknowledge that true impartiality is impossible because human beings have beliefs. So in the spirit of simple honesty, our policy is to encourage our editors to reveal their beliefs to the extent they feel comfortable. Politics: Amanda is a registered Libertarian but is recognized as a very liberal. She is an advocate of personal freedoms.
