I also wrote the short-lived humor column Give John Crandall a Dollar for Mission Viejo Patch.  Before working at Patch, I was a reporter at the Orange County Register for almost two years. At the Register, I covered the city of Rancho Santa Margarita and occasionally filled in for the breaking news reporter. I graduated from UCLA in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in English and from Santa Ana College in 2004 with a Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts.
