Kristine Martinez, Neighbor

Born in Orange, raised in Mission Viejo. I am Kristine Martinez, a 21-year-old student.

From Bathgate Elementary to Newhart Middle, Capistrano Valley High, and Saddleback College my education has always been located within the Mission Viejo community.

While living in Mission Viejo, I have actively invested my time to my schools and community through multiple positions. From fifth grade to Freshman year I served as Bathgate's Student President, Newhart's Student Vice President and CAPO's Freshman Vice President.

From eighth grade to junior year I was also the Youth Leader for my previous church and from freshman to junior year I represented Capistrano Valley Girls Soccer teams as the Frosh/Soph and Junior Varsity captain.

	

After graduating from Capistrano Valley High School in 2010, I ended my soccer career and leadership positions as I choose to only focus on my education.

While at Saddleback I discovered the path I wanted to pursue for a career and decided to get more involved with Saddleback’s journalism program and in Spring 2013, I served as the Life Editor for the student-run newspaper, The Lariat.

Now, I am interning for Orange County’s music publication, OCConcertGuide.com and local news, the Patch.

I am working to pursue my aspirations as a publicist in the entertainment industry as a student at Cal State University, Fullerton studying communications with an emphasis in public relations.

On my free time I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends, listening to music, watching movies, and relaxing.
