Children Call Police on Hoarder Parent

The teenage children of a Mission Viejo woman called police due to possibly unhealthy hoarding around 3:30 p.m. Thursday. The call came from the 24100 block of La Pala Lane.

The children said their mother had been depressed and they were concerned about their living conditions.

  • Someone was selling home theater equipment out the back of their white Hyundai SUV around 4 p.m. The person was reportedly near a gas station on the corner of Marguerite and Oso.
  • Someone's stolen green card was returned at the civic center police station around 1:15 p.m.
  • Someone from Mirino Drive said their mother's mail had been stolen. The call came around 1 p.m.
  • A man was spotted lying in the bushes near the corner of Marguerite and Vista Del Lago around noon.
  • An elderly man was found still warm but not breathing on the 24500 block of Chrisanta around 7:20 a.m.
